International Health CooperationA strategic field of action for the MMI Network
There is still a lack of platforms in which actors in health cooperation can critically reflect their own practices and approaches, share information and experiences, learn from each other and have an opportunity to further develop their institutional and personal skills and practices. As confirmed in the MMI Network Strategy 2021-25, this continues to be a major focus of our Network’s current activities.
With its track record of promoting knowledge sharing, mutual learning and critical self-reflection among actors in international health cooperation and global health (Kampala Initiative, CSO governance), the Medicus Mundi International Network is is well positioned and dedicated to continue and extend this role in the next years, with a set of ommunities of practice hosted by the Network, convened by Network members ready to take the lead, supported by the secretariat, and open for a broad range of interested institutions and experts/practitioners.
