The 9th European Congress on Tropical Medicine and international Health (ECMTIH) was organized by the Swiss TPH, a member of Medicus Mundi Switzerland, on behalf of the Federation of European Societies for Tropical Medicine and International Health (FESTMIH) and the Swiss Society for Tropical Medicine and Parasitology.

As the congress topic “The best science for global health challenges” was highly relevant for organizations working in the field of international health cooperation and global health, Medicus Mundi International and Medicus Mundi Switzerland participated as NGO partners in the Scientific Committee.

Medicus Mundi Switzerland participated in ECTMIH 2015 with a side event on “Swiss Health NGOs for Implementation Research” and a booth at the conference market shared with MMI.

Medicus Mundi International was responsible for the organization of a parallel session in the scientific program of the conference on “How to bridge between health systems researchers and practitioners in the field of international health cooperation” on Monday, 7 September 2015:
