Dear Network members,
We herewith cordially invite you to join us, on 2-3 November 2023, in Basel to celebrate 60 years of Medicus Mundi International – Network Health for All. We will do this together with the host of the MMI secretariat, Medicus Mundi Switzerland, that celebrates at the same time its 50th anniversary.
The programme starts, on 2 November, with a full day symposium hosted by Medicus Mundi Switzerland on the “Changing Role of CSOs in International Health Cooperation and Global Health”, a highly relevant topic also for our Network and its members. In the evening of 2 November, there will be the joint jubilee reception. We also invite you to stay with us on 3 November for a short Assembly of the MMI Network (to formalize the decisions taken in our members meeting in May) and an open planning and strategizing session of our Board.
Network members will also receive, in separate messages, the announcement of the jubilee conference of Medicus Mundi Spain, on 25 October 2023 in Madrid focusing on climate and health justice, to which MMI Network members are also invited as speakers and participants, as part of the MMI jubilee programme.
