Medicus Mundi International is a non-state actor in official relations with the World Health Organization and therefore invited to attend the WHO governing body meetings (World Health Assembly, Executive Board, Regional Committee Meetings) and thematic conferences organized by WHO and to provide input to particular WHO consultations.
Having UN ECOSOC status, Medicus Mundi International is also allowed to register delates to attend technical meetings of various UN institutions taking place in Geneva and New York.
- Network members will be updated by the Secretariat about upcoming WHO meetings and current thematic consultations
- Netork members are welcome to join the MMI delegations in WHO and UN meetings
- Network members are welcome to express their interest in representing the Network in thematic consultations of the WHO. Formal MMI positions on particular topics need to be approved by the Board.
