Annual Report 2016 of i+solutions

Annual Report 2016 of i+solutions

"2016 was a significant year for global health, we witnessed the first ever Ministerial Conference on Immunization in Africa, and great strides were made in reducing death due to infectious diseases. From our headquarters here in the Netherlands, and locally via our in-country project offices, i+solutions is contributing to these milestones. As one of the four members of the Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM), we have made sure that over 5.6 million patients suffering with HIV/AIDS received their medication in time, and provided 113 million malaria treatments to others. We helped women in sub-Saharan Africa take control of their reproductive health through education and better access to contraceptives, and we deepened our commitment to bridging the last mile, by working with the Nigerian government to operationalize Logistics Management Coordination Units (LMCU) and ensure an integrated Logistics Management Information System (LMIS).

We are proud to have made a positive impact on so many lives. We are currently involved in projects in over 65 countries and will continue to address areas of unmet need, especially in reducing the number of child and maternal deaths due to infectious diseases and poor access to reproductive health interventions.

Creating long-term impact on health care where it is needed requires collaboration, not only with recipient countries and our partners, it also means tapping into and sharing best practices and technological innovations. We are therefore looking forward to continue to work with you as we each play our part in achieving a healthier global community. We are proud to share our success stories, and invite you to read more."
