Fondée en 1971 à Brescia et reconnue officiellement comme ONG en 1980, Medicus Mundi Italie coopère dans le secteur de la santé, y compris la formation des personnels de santé, en mettant l’accent sur le développement communautaire. Son expertise principale: équipements médicaux et instruments techniques; expertise médico-technique; hygiène et assainissement. Tout engagement est initié par une demande émanant d’un partenaire local (diocèse, hôpital ou institution publique).
