Cordaid
Cordaid a été fondée en 1999 (création de Memisa en 1925, fusion avec Medicus Mundi Netherlands en 1984, puis fusion avec Mensen in Nood et Vastenaktie). L'organisation oeuvre à l’amélioration durable de la santé des plus démunis et des plus vulnérables. Elle veut rendre les soins de santé accessibles globalement, sans distinction religieuse, ethnique, politique ou de genre, dans le respect des cultures et traditions médicales locales. Elle travaille en collaboration étroite avec des partenaires locaux et fournit des moyens et des compétences pour soutenir le développement des systèmes de santé locaux. Elle recourt au personnel expatrié pour répondre aux besoins d’assistance technique ainsi qu’aux besoins urgents.
