MMI Global Health Governance Team

In May 2009 the Assembly of Medicus Mundi International adopted an Advocacy Policy of the MMI Network. In May 2010, in the strategic plan 2011-2015 of the MMI Network, the mandate for the MMI Network contained in this policy was translated into more specific directions with a clear statement that joint advocacy will focus on the WHO.

In order to start implementing this element of the Network Strategy, a "Global Health Governance Team" started to work, first on an informal level, but in March 2011, after having reported about its work and plans, formally mandated by the Board of the Medicus Mundi International Network.
