Cordaid
The Dutch NGO Cordaid combines more than 90 years’ experience and expertise in emergency aid and structural poverty eradication and is one of the biggest international development organisations with a network of almost a thousand partner organisations in 36 countries in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America. The Cordaid organisation is structured around the programmes.
"We dedicate our efforts to assure affordable and accessible basic health care
for the poor. We support communities to enhance self determination for
everybody. That is what we pursue with our partners. Through our lobby
activities on national and international level, we want to make sure that the
needs of medical personnel and the care for the most vulnerable groups will not
be forgotten by decision makers." (Monique Lagro, Cordaid Health and Well-being Program sector)
