10th World Congress of Maternal and Neonatal Health
Rome, 18-20 December 2011. "Maternal and child health is a leading topic in the global agenda, and all the major stakeholders of the international community are joining their hands to address this global public health challenge. The purpose of this meeting is to provide participants with a wealth of knowledge on the main topics of maternal and child health such as maternal-infant care in emergency, and how to intervene in case of complications related to childbirth. Ample attention will be also given to other topics such as breastfeeding, nutrition, birth-related infections, prematurity as well as universal access to maternal and neonatal healthcare."
MMI Network member DWA Cuamm is one of the co-organizers of the congress, contributing with an input on its work in the field of maternal and child health (free access to safe delivery and neonatal care) in Angola, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda.
