Making Health Interventions Work: From validation to application
The 13th Symposium of the Swiss Tropical Institute held on 17th
April 2009 focused on the development of health interventions and their
translation in to practice.
The symposium provided a platform for
the exchange of expertise and practical experience on topics covering a
wide range related to the path from validation to actual application of
the interventions.
The topics included:
- The conduct of clinical trials in resource poor settings
- Access & drug delivery strategies and respective programs
- Building evidence, scaling up and translating health evidence into health policies
- The execution and monitoring of large scale implementation programs
